   Usually prematurely, under intense sexual excitement:
    I had to change my underwear when I got back here. That's right. I shot off in my drawers. (Diehl, 1978)
   The punning shoot over the stubble was to ejaculate in a woman's pubic hair. To shoot your roe or shoot your load refers to any ejaculation.
   The obsolete shoot between wind and water was to infect with venereal disease, punning on the crippling shot to a sailing ship.
